Brett M. Burks

Brett was born and raised in Herndon, Virginia. After graduating from Virginia Tech with a degree in Finance Risk Management, he started working with Primerica in 2003. Brett ran Primerica’s number one office for several years and built a brokerage that consisted of 10 offices, with over 700 licensed agents throughout five states. In this time, he became a sought after speaker, training all over the country. Brett has spoken before crowds as large as 50,000 attendees. In 2011, Brett acquired Two Guys and a Truck, the corporation’s assets and the franchisor’s trademarks, including trade names, logos, service marks, and franchise agreements. As acting President, he has since led the company through a rebranding process to My Guys Moving & Storage, while increasing revenue and expanding into commercial moving services. He is an active member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO). Brett recently moved to Boca Raton, FL from Ashburn, VA with his wife, Nickerson, and has three children, Liam, Blake, and Savannah (and another on the way). He loves playing basketball, watching sports and reading in his spare time.
